Deadline alerts by email

Deadline extensions, new calls, and the workshops you saved, covering only the conferences and topics you choose, with nothing sent in a quiet week.

What arrives

Three things, and you tick which of them you want. They are independent: take all three, or just one.

The weekly digest

Every Monday, one message with four short sections, filtered to your selection:

A summary line at the top counts the week in one glance, and every change carries a small badge (EXTENDED +5d, DEADLINE POSTED, CLOSES TODAY), so what happened is the first thing you read rather than something buried mid-sentence. All times are UTC, stated once.

Quiet weeks send nothing. If none of your areas moved, there is no email. The digest is skipped rather than padded.

A deadline you follow is close

One alert when a workshop you saved is within 72 hours of closing. Sent once per deadline. If the organizers then extend it, the new date re-arms it.

A deadline you follow moved

One alert on the day we record a change to a saved workshop's deadline: an extension, a date brought forward, or a deadline published for the first time. This is the one worth having if you would rather not wait until Monday to hear that something slipped.

Questions

Is the data guaranteed correct?

No, and the emails say so. Dates are when we recorded a value, not necessarily when organizers changed it, and some entries are unverified imports. Always confirm on the official workshop page before you plan a submission.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no password and no profile: your email address plus a signed link is the whole system. To change anything later, request a sign-in link on the manage page.

What do you store, and how do I delete it?

Your address, the conferences and topics you picked, your starred items, and your cadence. Nothing else: no open tracking, no click redirects, no third-party sharing. Unsubscribing deletes the row entirely, immediately: there is no "inactive" state to sit in. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and the manage page has the same button.

Does my saved list still work without this?

Completely. Starring writes to your own browser and always has. Subscribing simply lets that list follow you to another device. See your saved list.

Can I just use a calendar or the RSS feed instead?

New workshops are announced in the RSS feed, and the full dataset is at /api/workshops.json if you'd rather build your own reminder.
